BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Cotehele House, Calstock

Over the main entrance is a very simple dial consisting only of the numerals for the hours 6am to 5pm with black dots between them indicating the half hours. These are painted directly on to the stone wall. There are no hour lines. An iron gnomon has a scrolled support.
