BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Murray Edwards College (1), Cambridge

This fine modern green slate dial by Quin Hollick is mounted on the wall of Orchard Court. It has an EOT graph and is inscribed ’Given by the New Hall Society on the retirement of Dame Rosemary Murray, first President of New Hall, 1954 - 1981’. (Murray Edwards was previously called ’New Hall’.) Above the dial face is ’Lat 52 13 Dec 28 W’.
