BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Somerset

On a gravestone. Shows 4am to 8pm in 1/8th hour. Split noon mark. A compass rose is centred on the gnomon root. 2 birds are also shown. No memorial name is evident. Mounted on circular section baluster pedestal 32 ins high with chamfered square top 9.75 ins across.
