BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Michael & All Angels, Throwley

The dial is high on the tower, possibly canted toward the East by a small amount. There is an undeciphered inscription across the top of the dial plate, and the date of 1676 at the top right. The lower edge of the gnomon bar is scalloped. Please keep the churchyard gate closed against sheep!
