BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Mary’s Parish Church, Stoke D’Abernon

On S wall. Modern replica of Saxon dial with 8 equally-spaced incised markings. Horizontal gnomon terminates with a small cross. Inscription below explains that it replaced an earlier dial (probably medieval) which fell off in May 1933. Ref: Henslow ’Ye Sundial Booke’, Foyle Ltd, London, 1935, p124
