BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

One of many examples of this design. The motto reads ’Make Time, Save Time while Time lasts; All Time is no Time when Time is past’, and the style is the lower edge of the gnomon. The dial is on the Green, about 100m from the church.
