BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Mary the Virgin’s Parish Church, Chislet

Dial mounted on the south wall, on two stone brackets, and is canted 2 deg W to face due S. The date is in the centre at the top. The dial shows 6am to 6pm in upright Roman numerals using IIII and XII - no hour lines or any other divisions visible. Across the bottom is ’H C D C C W’, probably for church wardens.
