BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Kent

A good churchyard dial with Equation of Time, on the E side of the path. Shows 4am to 8pm in 30,15,10 and 5 min marks. EoT scale as full circle, Watch Slower/Faster type. Zero at Apr 15. Shows 4am to 8pm in 30, 15, and (in Arabic tens), 10 and 2 min marks. Diamond ended half hour markers. Uses XII and IIII. Numerals read from outside the dial. Sigmoidal back edge to solid gnomon. Mounted on square section pillar with larger square on top 830h.
