BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St. Kentigern’s Church, Keswick

The dial is on the south clerestory. It declines 18° east of south and shows 6am to 3 or possibly 4pm in half hours. The simple strip gnomon has a downward curved supporter. There is an inscription in the extreme top right which appears to read: "TIH". This might refer to the Cross and Christ, from the Arabic equivalent of Greek for 318 - the number of bishops at Nicaea. See John Romer: Testament, the Bible & History, Henry Holt & Co, NY 1993. This is one of two dials on this church; see SRN 2184 for the other.
