St David’s Church, Llanddewi, Swansea

Inset into stone wall over the South porch & over a lamp. Very thick gnomon which might be a replacement and the cause of the cracks. Some hour lines and numerals visible. Would have shown 6am to 6pm - now just 12-2pm. Interval uncertain - maybe half hours. Ref: Country Churchyards in Wales: D Gregory, Gwasg Carreg Gwalch, Llanrwst 1991.
