BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Brasenose College, Oxford

Dating from 1719 is a 1520mm square vertical dial which declines 6°E. It is of painted wood and shows the hours VI - V divided into halves and quarters. The rod gnomon springs from the college’s coat of arms. Numerals and hour lines are painted blue on a white background.
