BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Gwynedd Area

The dial stands in the churchyard on a tall thin octagonal section rough stone pedestal, 1168 high. It shows hours IIII- XII - IIII - VIII, read from the outside, with a noon gap, divided to 30, 15 and 5 minutes outside the chapter ring, and to 30 and 15 minutes inside. In the centre is an 8-point compass rose, and at the south, read fro the south, is ’Lat 52 54 / D Wilson Novin [sic] fecit’.
