BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Essex

Motto reads: "Hora Fugit Rapide Lethusinque Invadit In[ermie?]". Roman numerals read from outside IIII - XII - IIII - VIII, with split noon. 30, 15, 7.5 and 2 min divisions. Half hours marked with fleur-de-lys. Circular gnomon supporter on dialplate. 4 hole fixing. Set on octagonal column and capital, 1500 high, with square base. Located in churchyard.
