BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

A slate dial in an oak frame is mounted on the South wall of the tower and canted West to achieve due South orientation. Across the top the motto reads: "Life is like a shadow". The dial shows 6am to 6pm divided into halves and quarters. Markings clear but lack depth. Strange engraved vertical line above ’ke’ of motto. Lat 50:50 hard to see above ’12’. The dial measures approximately 600mmh x 400mmw.
