BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The Town House, City Chambers, Aberdeen

The dial declines 25 degrees West. Motto across the top: "Ut Umbra Sic Fugit Vita". 13pt half sunburst, Gold furniture. Seven declination lines, but no report of a nodus. Shows 5am to 4pm in 15 and 5 min intervals. Ref: AR Somerville, personal file.
