BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

J Begg’s Shop (1), Aberdeen

This is the left hand cube of a pair on opposite parts of the roof gable. It has 2 dials declining SE & SW, both with gnomons. The SE declining dial shows 3am to 2pm in hours, and the date; the SW decliner 10am to 9pm in hours. Also refer to SRN 4027. Ref: A R Somerville, personal file
