BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Strathclyde Region

The plinth is square in section descending in three progressively wider sections. There is a carved face and a shield on the east and west sides, and the date 1688. The dial is a cubic blockwith dials N, S, E and W. Hour lines and numerals are clear; the gnomons are probably recent.
