BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Grampian Region

The dial sits on a worn square granite pillar about 1000 high, surrounded by a protective fence. It is a cube with vertical S, W and N dials, and a bowl hollow on the east is marked as a dial where the stone edge acts as the gnomon. A ball on the top is also marked as a dial and is supported 300 above the cube by an iron rod with a stay.
