BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Lothian Region

The dial block is set at 45° on a larger cubic block decorated with bears, very lichened. This is set on another wider square base, about 450 high overall. The dial block is marked on S, E and W faces and has an ogee top, possibly with a ball finial missing. No hour lines are visible but gnomons are present.
