BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Gillespie House, Elie

Triangular block with dials SW & SE, with large bowl hollow above. Hour lines etc poor; SW gnomon missing. The doorway to the house, ’The Muckle Yett’, has an elaborately carved pediment, very worn, with the dial block placed on top at a later date.
