BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Nos 11-12, Stamfordham

Breakarch design with two scrolls forming the arch and with initials under. A south facing dial in half and (a few) quarter hours. It is an unlikely site for a fairly grand dial on what was likely to have been a council house, but there are other dials and remnants in a village which was once well supplied with these timepieces.
