BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St John the Baptist Church, Frome

The dial is mounted high on the south face of a buttress at the south west corner of the tower. It declines 10 degrees west. Hour numerals are VIII - XII - IIII - VI, divided to 30, 15, 10 and 5 min intervals. There is a sunburst at the gnomon origin. The thin bar gnomon has an attractive multi-scrolled support.
