BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Lozenge-shaped, painted sheet-metal sundial. The dial declines by 12 degrees to the west and indicates the time from 8am to 6pm in half and quarter hours, with the hours shown in Red Arabic numerals. It includes the motto "Sic Transit Gloria Mundi" and has the date of 1863 arranged in the four spandrels of the square dial plate. A thin metal rod on two supports forms the gnomon, but this is incorrectly positioned.
