BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Post Office, Netherton

The dial is an eroded sandstone block on the south wall of the Post Office, about 300 above ground level, with no markings now visible. It is topped with a pyramid bearing a ball - possibly also a dial. There is a south gnomon; the others are rusted away. Ref: D D Dixon - Upper Coquetdale p 256
