BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Northumberland

Commendable modern dial on a gravestone. Motto reads: "Look Learn". Two bird motif on either side of gnomon. Purports to show 4am to 8pm in 30, 15 and 7.5 min marks but hour lines are incorrectly drawn to the dial centre. Gnomon may not be original and may be iron? . Cast with shallow ’S’ supporter and enlarged underedge at top.
