BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Gwynedd Area

This dial shows the time from 4am to 8pm, with 30, 15, 10 and 2 min marks. It bears a crest quartered with (clockwise from top left): 3 fleurs de lys; 2 stars, hatched; lion rampant. The gnomon is slightly bent. The date was established from the working life of the maker as 1806 - 1825. It stands on a cruciform cross section stone shaft pedestal.
