BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The dial is in the South Court flower bed and can only be reached across it. The motto reads: "Grow old along with me, The best is yet to be". Shows 6am to 6pm in half and quarter hours. Set on stone plinth 14 ins high with spirally fluted 3ft 3ins agl. Stone capital about 18ins hexagonal. Another dial in topiary garden? - refer SRN 5275
