BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Thomas a Becket Church (3), Lydlinch

One of three dials at this church. This one is above the porch on the South side. Hour and 1/4 hour lines are incised and in good order. The numerals are painted white though many are faded. The gnomon is probably wrought iron, painted black. An inscription on a plaque below the dial reads: ’MARTIN? / W??MAYNE / CHURCH / WARDENS / 1753’.
