BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Cumbria

Situated by path to west of church. Gnomon now broken off (sketch of original gnomon in R1256). Substantial gnomon shoulders. Marked Lat 54º 17’ and Long 02º 45’. Set on three step pedestal.
