BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The motto reads: ’UT VITA FINIS ITA’ (As the life is so is its end) and the dial also has the date ’1692’ below the root of the gnomon, and lower down an inscription ’Rebuilt 1957’ (after bombing in 1941). It declines 8 deg east. It uses vertical hour numerals VI - XII - IV - V, in half and quarter hours. The rod gnomon has a single straight supporter.
