BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St John the Baptist Church, Low Bentham

Substantial stone dial held in place by four clench nails. Incised furniture. Circular time scale shows 7am to 5pm in half and quarter hours. Split noon. Uses XII and IIII. Above the gnomon is inscribed ’Lat 54 7’, and a plaque reads ’Restored in memory of June Burnett 2004’.
