BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Andrew’s Church, Oakington

The dial is on the end of the south aisle on the south east diagonal buttress. There are black lines and lettering on purple/pink ground, showing 4am to 1pm in hours using Arabic numerals. Noon is marked by ’12’. Full length hour lines have been used but there are no sub-divisions. The gnomon consists of an iron rod bent to form its own supporter attached to the dial plate below the number 7. Motto reads: "God always cares" in gold letters on black across top.
