BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Newnham College (2), Cambridge

Little survives of the inscription and other detail on this four-faced memorial dial, shaped like a market cross with surrounding seats which offer a peaceful resting place at The Mound near the western end of Newnham College gardens. The pillar-mounted cube dial was erected in commemoration of the life of E M Sidgwick, the second Principal of the College, who served from 1892 until 1911.
