BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
Motto ’The hour is coming in which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice’ (John 5:28). Smaller lettering below ’his voice’, possibly ’???M.J. D.J.V. 1907’? Semicircular dial inset in stone surround. Shows 6am to 6pm with half and quarter hour divisions. Uses XII and IIII. Floral patterning in lower corners, and fleur-de-lys at top ends of chapter ring and at gnomon root.
