BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Corregio Cottage, Aldeburgh

Sundial painted onto brickwork above front door. The dial which has black furniture on a white background, declines by 14 degrees west and indicates the hours from 8am to 5pm, the hours being shown with vertically aligned Roman Numerals. Half hours are marked within the borders of the chapter ring. The hour lines are in gold, radiating from a gold half-sunburst around the gnomon origin. The metal rod gnomon has a single support strut.
