BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Clumber Park [NT], Worksop

In garden by lakeside. Motto reads: "Loyalte Nap Hou???". Coat of arms with ’Pense --- --’ . Shows 4am to 8pm in 30,10 and 2 min marks. Scalloped (dragon-wing design) underside of gnomon. Split noon line. Indecipherable inner scale may be EoT related. In need of a clean to reveal an excellent dial. Mounted on massive stone octagonal pedestal and stepped circular plinth, 1200h. The SalvoWeb web site states that the dial was stolen in 2008; also that it was made c 1777, and may bear the arms of the second Duke of Newcastle.
