BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

South frontage. Across the top: "Carpe diem" (the motto of the Court Family). Hour and half hour lines not differentiated making it difficuly to read the time. White paint on a slate-blue ground, all rather crudely applied (see the date especially). Roof overhang shields the dial from the afternoon sun.
