BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Anglesey Abbey [NT] (1), Lode

It is more than 25 years since this multiple dial was first sighted so its condition may by now have deteriorated. It stands in the lawn on the north side of the Abbey but is visible from Westington Road and Izod’s Close. The dial motto: ’FEARE GOD, OBEY YE THE KING’ appears also on another dial at the Abbey, SRN 5935.
