BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Two dials are arranged around a corner of the building at first floor level, mounted on the white stone wall about 20ft up, this one and SRN 4359. This dial faces 15° north of west. It shows 2pm to 7pm in hours, with IV as 4pm. It has a gilded frame, hour lines, numerals and sun; the gnomon is gilded and its supporter is turned. The dial is marked GMT in the lower RH corner. The dials were designed by the sculptor John Rattenbury Skeaping (1901-1980), the first husband of Barbara Hepworth (m 1925-1933). He was an offial war artist in WWII.
