BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Church of St Andrew, Whitchurch

There has been some damage to the left side of this slate dial on the church porch but the remainder is in fair condition. It is canted to face South and shows VI - VI divided into halves and quarters. The half-hour markers have a triple dot pattern at their ends. Across the top is the date, 1778. It measures 500mmw x 450mmh.
