BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The Old Coach House, Marldon

Made in 1978 by a Mr Saunders, this copper dial has numerals made from lead strips which are painted gold. Sited above the front door it has a spurious date, 1670, "to be in keeping with the house." It measures 610mm square.
