BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
The shady churchyard gives this dial on the porch few chances of being useful. It is difficult to decipher and looks neglected though it was given a new gnomon in 1978. It has a break-arch dialplate with a sun-face surrounded by floral decoration in the arch. It is almost certainly undated though a date of 1690 has been ascribed to it without any firm evidence. It shows Vi - VI in half hours. All lines drawn to semicircle surrounding the sun face. Uses XII and IIII. Numerals read from outside the dial. It measures 300mmw x 350mmh.
