BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Mary’s Church, Rattery

Canted West on the church porch is a slate dial with a three curved top. The central curve carries the date 1808 bisected by a repaired crack which extends the full height of the dial. It shows the hours VI - VI divided into halves and quarters. Uses XII and IIII. Strip gnomon and upwards supporter. Nowadays the dial is in shade until mid afternoon. It measures 450mmw x 610mmh.
