BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St. Menefreda, St Minver

This practical dial on the south porch has little in the way of decoration apart from the sun face at the gnomon root and carved columns at each side. Its motto is a common one (’Sic Tranfit gloria Mundi’, with a lower case ’g’ for Gloria), and the date of 1746 appears below it. The rest of the dial is quite standard with the hours divided into halves and quarters.
