BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Lalluwy’s Church, Menheniot

This fine slate dial on the porch has a decorative outline and is beautifully engraved. The way the hour numerals are written provides another example of the ’anticlockwise convention’ (cf. Lansallos) in which the component letters of each numeral are always read in an anticlockwise direction. Noon is represented by a rose rather than XII. It is quite a large dial.
