BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The dial, above the south porch door, consists of a sheet metal plate in a black wooden frame, canted substantially out from the wall to face due south. Note the sun ray hour lines. The motto reads ’My Times are in thy hand’. The dial was used for air gun practice for many years, and had become unstable and unsafe. It was replaced by the current replica in 2014, being dedicated at a service on 19 October. Ref: Henslow ’Ye Sundial Booke’, Foyle Ltd, London, 1935, p184
