BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Hesketh Park, Dartford

Replica made 1905. Erected on wooden posts by the cricket pavilion. Shows 7am to 8pm in 30 & 15 min intervals. Has tropics & equinoctial lines as well as lines marking lengths of the day from 8 to 16. Nodus formed from ’crook’ in gnomon. Some ’pot-shot’ marks on dial face. The original 1794 dial was located in Lowfield Street.
