BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Katherine’s Dock, Tower Hamlets

This Grade II listed sundial is by the lock near Tower Bridge, mounted on a 146 inch diameter circular plinth. The stainless steel ring hour ring is supported by welded black iron chains, and shows 2 x 12 hrs with hours marked by dots. Winter times are deduced from the shadow on the inner edge of ring. There is an EoT curve on a plaque.
