BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Church of St Mary, Lydney

On West end of lych gate. Cube dial with all four faces. Motto: "Persunt et Imputantur" [The hours pass away and are reckoned to our account]. Lines visible on South, East and West faces only. The South face shows 6 am to 6 pm in half and quarter hours; numerals not now visible however. East gnomon is missing.
