BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Holy Trinity Church, Cookham

A large and fine vertical dial, facing direct south, on the clocktower above the clock. The dial has black-filled lines and vertical Roman numerals on a white (marble?) ground. It shows 6am to 6pm in half and quarter hours. Half hour lines are extended with arrow heads. (8:45 line, wrongly, does the same.) The numerals use XII at noon and IIII at 4pm. The gilded gnomon has a single curly supporter. The dial is under a protective stone drip ledge.
